Brackman, Barbara & Karla Menaugh

Barbara Brackman has written numerous books about quilts and quilt history, among them, Quilts From the Civil War and Civil War Women with C&T Publishing. She lives in Lawrence, Kansas, where she works as a consultant to museums such as the Kansas Museum of History and the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas. She is honored to be a member of the Quilters' Hall of Fame. With Terry Clothier Thompson, she designs reproduction fabrics for Moda. With Karla Menaugh, she publishes quilt patterns and booklets for the Sunflower Pattern Co-operative, and with her sister Jane Brackman, she publishes gift books about pets for Sirius Publishing.
